The Dillsburg Game Night group will be hosting their 7th annual Board Game Sale and Swap on Saturday, Nov. 15th!

Those interested in selling or swapping their (new and used) games will be able to from 12:00pm-3:00pm. In addition, open gaming hours will be 12:00pm-10:00pm.

They are hopeful to have several food trucks at the event during lunch and will provide more details soon.

Pizza will be available for dinner.

Step into the universe of Traveller and join fellow fans at TravellerCon/USA 2025 — an in-person convention celebrating the classic sci-fi roleplaying game. The event features open role-playing sessions, miniatures games, themed panels, and more. This year’s theme is BWAPS — an amphibious race famed for their administrative and logistical prowess.

Held at the DoubleTree Resort by Hilton Lancaster in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, the convention offers multiple badge levels (Analyst, Manager, Bureaucrat) each granting varying privileges like pre-registration for game slots. Organizers also encourage referees to host games — for each game run, they’re eligible for a $5 refund (up to four games).

Whether you’re a veteran Traveller GM or new to the lore, this is your chance to game, connect, and immerse in the galaxy together.

Boo Bash

Celebrate Halloween early with Lazarus Games’ Boo Bash, a fun, family-friendly event featuring in-store trick-or-treating, a raffle, and a costume contest. Guests can enjoy themed treat stations hosted by the staff, earn raffle tickets throughout the day, and compete for gift card prizes during the evening costume contest (5:30–8:30 PM).

Prizes include a $25 gift card for the adult winner and a $15 gift card for the kids winner. Plus, the Ghostbusters Ecto-Mobile will be on site after 5 p.m. to handle any spooky activity — though anyone dressed as a ghost might want to stay on their toes!

Tabletop Game Design Studio: Public Playtest

The Harrisburg University community is officially invited to join the students of Tabletop Game Design Studio (IMED 315) in a public playtest.

Co-taught by Professors Greg Loring-Albright, Ph.D., and Anthony Ortega, Tabletop Game Design Studio challenges students to ideate, develop, and playtest a board game or card game as a semester-long project. The public playtest is an opportunity for HU students, staff, and faculty to experience the creativity of their peers and provide invaluable feedback to help improve the students’ designs.
